Untuk terhubung ke set replika, Primer, gunakan mongo shell --host pilihan:
mongo --host replicaSetName/host1[:porthost1],host2[:porthost1],host3[:porthost3],etc
Misalnya:
$ mongo --host rs1/john.local:27019,john.local:27018

Catatan: Dari versi 3.4.2 hingga 3.4.10 terdapat bug (SERVER-28072) yang mencegah penetapan db setelah menggunakan --host atau --port.
